A Science Story was a half-hour science show originally broadcast from February to April 2014 on Melbourne’s SYN radio 90.7 FM. The team aimed to communicate science to young people in a casual and entertaining way. All our weekly hard work eventually paid off: A Science Story won the SYN award for best seasonal program of 2014.

Andrew Katsis

Andrew graduated from a Master of Science (Zoology) at the University of Melbourne in 2013. His two-year research project studied personality and vocal learning in an Australian songbird, the superb fairy-wren. He has a keen interest in science, and in communicating its awesomeness to as wide an audience as possible.

Chris Gatto

Chris graduated from a Master of Science (Zoology) at the University of Melbourne in 2013. His two-year research project modelled life-history variation across the range of an Australian lizard, the bearded dragon.
